The Village Today

Pangbourne today is a popular little village, with its friendly community and its idyllic surroundings, making it a perfect home to raise a family or to retire to.

The village is ideally situated near the M4 corridor (34 miles from Heathrow) and there is a Railway station with a main line into London Paddington (approx 50 mins away).

Henley-On-Thames, where the Henley Regatta is held every year, is only 19 miles away and Windsor is less than 30 miles from the village.

The village centre also has excellent shopping facilities, a very good doctors and dentist surgery, various restaurants and a number of historic Inns.
There is also a small village Police and Fire Station.

There is a Primary school in the village and good public and private schools nearby, including the Pangbourne College.

For the keen golfers there are also several excellent golf courses in the near vicinity.

There are a couple of Leisure Centres a few miles away and the
Child Beale Park is within walking distance of the village.
